What is Get In Tech?
Get In Tech is a Toronto school that runs live, small group tech courses and 1:1 coaching online. It teaches agentic AI, Claude Code, prompt engineering, PMP, business analysis and MLOps to students, career changers and working professionals.
Who teaches the courses?
Practitioners who do the work. Get In Tech was cofounded by Amber Gargrish, a senior AI program leader, PMP and Certified ScrumMaster, and Arooj Ahmed Qureshi, Senior Manager of AI at Bell Canada with 13 years in production AI.
Where do live classes happen?
Online, on a video call. You get the link, calendar invites and course materials by email after you enrol.
What if I miss a session?
Every session is recorded, usually available the next day. You keep access for 90 days.
How big are the groups?
Small. PMP and BA cohorts start once 10 students enrol, and every class is kept small enough for your questions and feedback on your work.
Do I need a technical background?
Not for beginner courses. Intermediate and advanced courses list what to know first on the course card.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, once you attend or watch the class and finish its exercises. PMP prep also includes a 35 contact hours certificate for your PMI application.
How long are the courses?
Technical courses are a single 2 hour hands on live class. PMP and BA prep run for six weeks and start once 10 students enrol. For longer programs, we are partnering with universities.
How much do courses cost?
Each 2 hour class is CA$99. PMP and BA prep are CA$399 in a group, or CA$999 one to one with 1,000+ downloadable practice exam questions.
Can my employer pay?
Yes. We invoice companies directly, and for three or more people from one team we can run a private cohort.
Can I get a refund?
All sales are final, with no refunds. The one exception: if a PMP or BA cohort does not reach 10 students, you can move to the next cohort or get a full refund. Check the level and outcomes on the course card before you book, and email hello@getintech.ca if you are not sure which class fits.
Are prices in Canadian dollars?
Yes. All prices are in CAD and applicable sales tax is added at checkout.
How do I book 1:1 coaching?
Pick a session type on the coaching page and request a time. You get a reply within one business day.
Can I teach at Get In Tech?
Yes. Practitioners in AI, data, product and delivery can apply on the instructors page.
